Gromit is a 1968 Series IIA diesel short wheel base Land Rover.

We bought Gromit as an occasional vehicle to move our labradors around, but we quickly came to rely on the old Landy more and more often. We found him in Cowra, outback NSW where he had been rescued from the wreckers and restored. Gromit has participated in ANZAC Day marches and is a common sight in Sydney traffic. 

We will ship Gromit from Perth, Australia to Durban, South Africa onboard a RO/RO ship.

We plan to keep our trip simple, reletively inexpensive and sympathetic to a 1960's Land Rover.
